Republic is looking for a business development associate. 

The business development associate will be a key member of the advisory team and will be supporting the Head of Business Development & Partnerships, supporting them in their efforts to not only maintain and support current Republic Crypto clients, but to also assist the team in organizing and identifying potential opportunities. 

What you’ll do

  • Sales Process Involvement: Actively support the sales process from initial lead generation to deal closure, progressively taking on more responsibility to independently manage and close deals within a year.
  • Client Relationship Management: Maintain and enhance relationships with existing clients, providing them with business development support and ensuring their needs are met with high levels of satisfaction.
  • Ecosystem engagement: Develop and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the crypto ecosystem, including high-profile projects, VCs, and institutional investors. 
  • Market Intelligence: Continuously learn about the latest market trends and competitive activities to identify promising potential partnerships and opportunities for growth
  • Cross Functional Collaboration: Work seamlessly with cross-functional teams—including due diligence, legal, and economics—to efficiently drive deals to completion

There may be opportunities to travel based on performance 

 

Our ideal candidate

Ideal candidates are hustlers with a passion for learning and growth, prioritizing potential and drive. 

  • 2-4 years of experience in business development, sales, or similar roles, with a proven track record.
  • Proactive and adept at solving complex issues, with the ability to drive initiatives to completion.
  • Excellent at managing relationships and understanding diverse interpersonal dynamics.
  • Strong interest in or experience with the crypto and blockchain industry, with a preference for eager learners.

A qualified candidate, based in New York City, can expect a base salary of $100,000-$120,000. A standard offer from Republic includes base compensation, equity options, and a highly competitive benefits and perks package. Offers are determined by a number of factors including (but not limited to) the applicant's experience, skills, certifications, as well as internal equity among our team.
